The worst part might be that most of those DLC are often announced before the release. They're not forced on you and make some people happy. In Xillia it was 3 dollars for 1 costume. I strongly recommand to ignore those DLCs, they're far from being mandatory, the game is already easy and there are a lot of tips using the gameplay to grind for stuff, levels or herbs.īecause people are willing to pay for those stuff.

Which are imo a rip off, since most of them are early unlock from the Grade Shop (so you can access those stuff for free in NG+). The game has a bunch of free in-game costumes, attachments and skins for the geoboard, so it's not like there's a strong incentive to buy the DLC stuff even if they have more appealing designs. Some costumes come with color swap, some of them change the battle theme too.
